Power (Art Of Tones Remix) / Impulsive Procession (Opolopo Remix)
The two luxurious remix versions celebrating the 30th anniversary of Kyoto Jazz Massive are being released for the first time on 12-inch vinyl from KAWASAKI RECORDS!
Originally released digitally in 2024 and followed by an analog edition in 2025, the EP “KJM EOANDO” was created in collaboration with Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra—the live support band for Kyoto Jazz Massive’s European shows and an alias of Jeroboam, known for releases on MCDE’s Space Grapes label.
Now, two highly acclaimed remixes from the EP are finally being pressed on vinyl:
“Power” (Art Of Tones Remix)
“Impulsive Procession” (Opolopo Remix)
The Art Of Tones remix of “Power” has been championed by top European disco/house producers such as Dave Lee, Dr. Packer, and Young Pulse, while the original version reached #1 on Traxsource's Nu Jazz / Broken Beats chart. Meanwhile, Opolopo himself listed his remix of “Impulsive Procession” as No.1 on his personal DJ chart.
These two remixes take Kyoto Jazz Massive’s full-band recordings and elevate them into more floor-oriented, DJ‑friendly versions—making this 12-inch single essential not only for house DJs but also for crossover selectors across genres.
The beautiful jacket artwork—photographed and designed (including typography) by Shuya Okino—comes fully into its own in this analog format, completing the release as a true art piece.
