Jeweluna
[[Release Detail]][[Release Description]]
This is the 12th original studio album released on July 18, 1990.
This is the first time the album has been released on LP, and due to the recording time of the CD at the time of its release, it is being released on a higher-quality 45 rpm double-disc set. The album title is a combination of the English word âJewelâ and the Latin word âLunaâ meaning âmoonâ. The album was co-produced by Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics for seven of the ten songs, and Miho Nakayama, who wrote the lyrics and three of the songs (âKuchibiruâ, âSoshite sono Natsuâ, and âTengoku he no Kagiâ). The album version of the single âMegami tachi no Boukenâ which was released at the same time, is included on the album, as well as âKorekara no I Love Youâ composed by Kenjiro Sakiya, which was released as a single version in 1991 after the album release. Other composers on the album include Hideo Saito, Kenji Hayashida, Keizo Nakanishi, and Takao Konishi, giving the album a breath of fresh air. The album opens with âKuchibiruâ written and composed by Miho Nakayama, which evokes a fresh summer breeze, followed by âYaban na Housekiâ which is connected to the album title, and âShiroi Suna no La Merâ a song with a pleasant bossa nova touch, both of which are ambitious works. It is also an album work on the theme of summer, just as âSummer Breezeâ (3rd album) and âMind Gameâ (7th album) were.
