Raining To Hear
[[Release Detail]][[Release Description]]
The vinyl records of Iwamura Ryuta's four works, "Sunday Impression," "Monday Impression," "Reading To Hear," and "Raining To Hear," will be globally released by ANALOG DEPT. (Hong Kong)! The album covers are designed by the renowned Japanese illustrator Noritake!
We listen intently to the sound of the piano that can be heard beyond the rain. And at some point, we are struck by a sense of emptiness. What exactly are you listening to? The sound of rain? Or music? Is it really music that emerges and takes shape? Perhaps what you are trying to hear is the "sound of rain" set against a backdrop of music. "CITY," a collage of urban noise and music, along with the piano collection "Sunday / Monday Impression," created one piece each week over a span of 24 weeks.
Creating music, listening to sound.
This act itself can be considered a work of art—this is Ryuta Ikemura's latest creation.
The jacket design is handled by Noritake, continuing from "Reading to Hear."
