Inoyama Land Box
This deluxe 6-CD box set with a 40-page booklet comprehensively documents the history of INOYAMALAND and Japanese environmental music.
It includes the group’s formative work COLLECTING NET (recorded in 1977 and first released in 2018), which marked the beginning of INOYAMALAND; DANZINDAN-POJIDON [New Master Edition], newly mixed and mastered from the original album produced by Haruomi Hosono and released in 1983 on ALFA/YEN Records, a landmark work that triggered the reappraisal of Japanese environmental music of the 1980s; INOYAMALAND [Remaster Edition], originally released in 1997 on Crescent, the label of environmental music production company Sound Process Design; Music for Myxomy-cetes [Remaster Edition], released in 1998 by Japan’s leading techno label TRANSONIC RECORDS; and the long-lost CD-R Egyptology (2003), previously available only as a venue-exclusive release and now extremely difficult to obtain.
As a bonus disc, the set features a live recording from INOYAMALAND’s first-ever London performance, held in February 2025, which attracted significant attention and sold out its tickets.
Limited to 300 copies, this box set is a rare and invaluable cultural archive documenting INOYAMALAND and the history of Japanese environmental music.
